Data & privacy
You are the data controller.
CAO Studio's Local-Client deployment runs entirely on your machine. The frontend, backend, and database are installed locally; your client engagements, workshop notes, uploaded documents, and design history never leave your installation.
AI-supported analysis (CAO Brain) routes through our EU-hosted CAO Server. The CAO Server processes each request, returns the response, and retains nothing — no client content, no workshop data, no logs of the prompt body.
What we never see: uploaded documents, saved engagements, workshop content, design history.
What flows through the CAO Server: the prompt body for one AI call + its response. Held in memory long enough to answer; not persisted.

Enterprise · full sovereignty
Need everything inside your own walls? For enterprise deployments we can install CAO Studio entirely within your environment and point the CAO Brain at your own LLM — a model you self-host, or an EU-hosted provider you choose (for example Mistral). In that configuration even the AI calls stay under your control: nothing is routed through our CAO Server or to a language-model vendor we selected. It's a contract-based enterprise option — talk to us.
